Profile:

Keri Edwards has worked at a children’s hospital for 10 years as a certified child life specialist. With the multidisciplinary focus of the hospital she had the opportunity to help start the pediatric pain management workgroup and develop her interest in this area.  She also had the chance to work on the end of life committee, the family centered care workgroup and with the teen advisory council.  Her work at the hospital allowed her to work with students at both the practicum and intern level.  This led her to teach part time and eventually transition to teach full time where she can share her knowledge and experiences with the next generation of child development professionals preparing to go out and work with children and families.
