Profile:

Dr. Connor Walters, C.F.L.E, currently serves as Chair of the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences and Professor in the Human Development and Family Resources sequence at Illinois State University. Her B.S. is from Oklahoma State University, M.S. from the University of Alabama and Ph.D.
from the Ohio State University. She previously served on the faculty at Louisiana Tech University, Syracuse University and Florida State University. Dr. Walters is active in the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences and has served as Chair of the Council for Accreditation, Chair of the Development Committee, Chair of the Ethics Committee, Chair of Collegiate Assembly, and Vice-Chair for the Higher Education Unit. Currently she serves on the Editorial Board for the Family and Consumer Sciences Research Journal and is President-Elect of the Council for Administrators in Family and Consumer Sciences. Dr. Walters currently serves as the Chair of the ISU Chair's/Director's Council.
