Are you a current Illinois State University student interested in changing your major or minor to FCS?

Steps to apply for the major:

1. Complete the on-line application. Applications are accepted during the first two weeks of February and September. Notification decisions will be sent out soon thereafter.
2. Approximately one week after the review date (given below) you will receive a letter from us indicating whether or not you have been accepted to the major. Applications must be submitted prior to the deadline in order to be included in that review.
